Forest Temple (Ocarina of Time ReOrchestrated)

Consistently labeled as one of the best, if not the best, dungeon theme in Ocarina of Time, I had to wonder how I was supposed to make a greater version while still being faithful to the original. There isn't even very much to the original; the Forest Temple is great in its simplicity. That being said, I at least had a direction to start with: the ReOrchestration series uses synthetic and heavily modified instruments as a motif for ghosts and spirits, which fits this location very well. Additionally, I took inspiration from BotW divine beast themes which gain layers as each terminal is found, and created layers for each flame collected (and some other minor events). I created a melody for the final version, which is the second half of this video. If you want to see the full version of all 11 layers, I have a video of that on this channel too, with a special courtyard arrangement that didn't make the cut into this video.
