PAYDAY 3 Update 18 is here, introducing the Shopping Spree heist, skill balance changes, tougher enemies, and retroactive heist updates. Here’s my honest breakdown of what works, what doesn’t, and why this mall heist feels underwhelming.
In this video, I go over everything new in Update 18, including the Shopping Spree heist objectives, RNG variations, favours, stealth vs loud gameplay, and the removal of Wi-Fi circles from Touch the Sky. I also cover the new skill balance pass, enemy health and armour changes, and why bulldozers now feel significantly more dangerous.
While Shopping Spree has some great ideas, it also suffers from locked-off areas, repetitive looting, and design decisions that hold the heist back from being truly great.
