here's how to make a 247cm pull up bar (bar is at 220cm). if have qeustions just ask through comments
Things you'll need to do it as i did it:
2 x 220cm wood bars (mine are 7x7cm)
3 x 180cm " "
2 x 120cm " "
screws as i say in the video
glue
4 L clamps
galvanized pipe (mine was 200cm)
tools (saw, drill etc.)
Total cost (in italy) = 60€ (tools not included)
Instructions:
00.20 glue the 4 wooden beams like shown and insert 2 12cm screws per side.
00.30 cut diagonally the short beams like shown and keep the triangles left, don't throw them!
01.38 use the wooden triangles as shown, to give more stability to the horizontal base, using glue and 2 5cm screws.
01.52 sign the middle of the 2 long beams with a pencil, place the vertical beam on it and sign it's width on the horizontal one. Like shown.
02.02 cut a little gap (8/10mm) to fit the vertical beam giving more stability. Then place the vertical beam on it and use 4 14cm screws from the bottom of that point. You will then use the diagonal short beams... place them like shown and cut a gap, like before, on the horizontal beam, to stop them from sliding. Use 2 8cm screws per side, to fit the diagonal beams.
Then use L clamps to secure each cornern as shown.
04.15 cut a hole of the diameter of the pipe and fit it in, slide it until it touches the second beam, sign the position, and dut another hole.
