Llandegla : Taking my brother on his first real mountain bike ride (Black Trail)

This was a trip from 22nd June to Coed Llandegla Forest, where I took my younger brother who had never really done any mountain biking before. I'd ridden the black trails a few times and found them reasonably tame compared to other places in the area.

We had the plan that we start on the Black and switch back to the red if Sean found them too difficult. After the initial descending on the red / black at the start and the first black section Sean was up to speed, a lot more comfortable and confident so we continued.

The black trails at Llandegla use the height gained from climbing to the fullest which I don't believe can be said for some of the red sections (descending on forest roads and some featureless trails).

The only real issues were simple ones that we all make, forgetting to drop the seat when descending, over braking and me maybe pushing him a little too far at the end of the video.

It was a good day out and Sean would definitely come again.
