The Slinghammer - a 3d printed repeating crossbow for different sizes of steelballs.
We like shooting with bow and arrow in our backyard (which is really huge and surrounded by fields). I also want to buy a repeating crossbow, so I was watching several review videos. I landed on a video of Jörg Sprave's Slingshot Channel @Slingshotchannel where he is showing a 3d printed crossbow. (And which has enjoyable content at least for me - großes Lob und Danke Jörg, solltest Du das jemals lesen, Grüße aus Österreich)
I looked it up un Cults3d and was totally hooked. A few clicks and Euros later the files were mine. Huge shoutout to Dondipper on Cults3d, great work.
I built it in the 10mm steelball version (materials below) and tested it with 9,5mm steelballs and it totally blew my mind. Great quality and great power.
General advice:
use something to make the string glide like string wax or silicon spray
wear safety glasses. If that steelballs hit anything hard, they will bounce back
be aware that there is no locking mechanism, so only cock it, when you are going to shoot
