On 7 March 2022, the iconic bendy buses suddenly made a comeback on Bus 190 after many years. This route used to be served by a full high capacity fleet of bendy buses, making it an icon on this very popular route. Eventually, as the old O405G bendy buses retire, double decker buses soon replaced them. Around 2019, there wasn't even a single permanent bendy bus deployed on this route, fully replaced by double decker buses. Bendy buses were soon banned on this route by the LTA due to unknown reasons, and were all redeployed to serve on Buses 300, 184 and 302. I thought I would never ever see a bendy bus on bus 190 again......
