Just a few looks at my newest add to the fleet.
This 1996 Caprice 9C1 was once in service at the Roanoke County School Board. The car number is M148.
It has all kind of paper work and is pretty original to this day. None of the old equipment is left, wich is a shame, but I will add some stuff back on.
The body has minimal rust, in fact it is in almost rust free condition.
The engine was sadly damaged. It made a loud knocking noise after warm up. Also, the oil pressure dropped. Rod knock :( I tore it apart and found the rod bearing on #1 badly damaged and spinning. Crank and cam was scrap.
Right now I am waitng on parts to put it back together to get it on the road at last.
