For the first quarter of the 20th century Steam cars had a pretty good run. Stanley were probably one of the most successful of the manufacturers.
This beautiful car has a petrol and kerosene mix fired boiler, that is capable of producing a maximum of 450 psi of steam pressure! The body on this car is wooden and it is mounted to tubular steal rails. It belongs to the Bellamy family, who were good enough to bring it to the Northleach show (It was one of the stars of the show for me).
