01. 태평소 시나위
태평소의 화려하고 강렬한 음색으로 연주한 정형화되지 않은 기악곡을 의미한다. 시나위는 한국 무속 음악의 일종으로 일명 신방곡(神房曲·心房曲)으로도 불린다.
이처럼 무속적이고 전통적이지만, 강렬한 음악에 맞춰 최현의 호방하고 담백하지만 화려한 동작이 어우러져 멋있고 힘차게 보여 지는 춤이다.

Jeong Hye-jin and Choe Hyeon Dance Center [2015.09.09.]
Jeong Hye-jin, who was born in Chuncheon, Gangwondo, learnt dance from the late master Choe Hyeon and decided to be a professional dancer when she attended Seoul Arts Highschool. Jeong studied at Ehwa Womans University for her B.A. and M.A., and completed her Ph.D. at SunKyunKwan University.
She worked with various dance companies as a dance director, such as the Changmuhoe and Seoul Arts Performance Company. Recently, she began working as an art director. Her dancing is joyful and lucid. Also her dance embraces other artistic genres in terms of large scale dance performances as she actively collaborates with other artists. As a leader of a large professional dance company, she leads the ways of creative dancing on the front line. Choe Hyeon, who was Jeong's everlasting teacher, dancer, and choreographer, means a lovely man to Jeong. He was an eternal artist, true entertainer, liberal dancer, and the last true romantic of the century. The compliments of late poet Kim Yoeng-tae, the best friend of Choe, deeply touching our hearts. Choe's students and disciples present their master's dance pieces in rememberance of the scent and memories she left.

01. Taepyeongso Sinawi

Taepyeongso sinawi refers to unfixed melodies played by taepyeongso, the double reed wind instrument that has powerful and dynamic sounds. Sinawi, also known as "sinbanggok" is a kind of shaman music. The dance is accompanied by this traditional and shamanistic music and is also very vivid and dynamic, but it reflects Choe Hyeon's plain style well.
