We've been watching Dimitri develop his skills surfing around town for awhile now, but we often head toward different spots and link up with different filmers, so... it's taken awhile for us to put together a Dimitri part. Lately, more than enough clips have landed on our hard drives that it's undeniable we need to showcase his talent, as he's one of the best up and coming surfers right now representing Ventura.
Dimitri got dealt a curveball last year at the peak of his career while ranked #1 on the WSL North American, he lost his two major sponsors. He kept trucking and went on to win the inaugural La Marginal Surfing Pro 2024 in Puerto Rico.
We met up in the parking lot at harbor to ask Dimitri some random questions and find out where he currently stands. Enjoy!
