9. AT - A WASHED OUT BRIDGE across the Nolichecky River...More Helene Devastation

Hot Springs, NC to Erwin, TN
Rainy nights and big climbs durning the day greeted me as I left Hot Springs heading to Erwin. Devastation from Hurricane Helene was clearly evident as I hiked further North which included the bridge that was washed away across the Nolichucky River near Uncle Johnnys Hostel.
