5 Ways To Set Up Rear Uppercut For Boxing | GIVEAWAY

Whats up guys, in this video I show you 5 sneaky ways to set up the rear uppercut for boxing! I've said it before and I'll say it again. Boxing is an art, you can be as creative as you want there is no right or wrong HOWEVER some techniques require more risk than others. The rear uppercut is usually a mid to close range punch. Occasionally it is okay to throw a long uppercut to confuse your opponent. Just keep in mind the longer the uppercut the more risk you are taking.

These 5 set ups are for mid to close range rear uppercuts. So if you are standing orthodox (left foot forward right foot back) then your rear uppercut is the right hand. If you are standing southpaw (right foot forward left foot back) then your rear uppercut is the left hand.

#1 Block your opponents vision with your lead hand
#2 Shoulder bump/roll
#3 Body Punch then Uppercut
#4 Head Movement Disguise
#5 Punch/Shove guard then uppercut (Lead hook to forearm followed by rear uppercut)
