Jointer infeed Table Leveling 20240723

The outfeed table and the infeed table are adjustable for fine-turning. Bothe tables are pre-calibrated and Cutech jointers are made ready to use.

Please check the leveling of the outfeed table, and the coplanar setup of the infeed table before make adjustments.

Check the leveling of the outfeed table:
1. Remove the safety guard.
2. Loosen the lock knob and lower the infeed table to 1/8".
3. Set the fence back and away from the tables.
4. Place a straight edge on the rear side of the outfeed table.
5. Use the torx wrench on the front end of the cutterhead to turn the cutterhead. Always spin counterclockwise to prevent damage to the inserts and the straight edge.
6. The straight edge should be slightly touched by the cutter tips as you maually spin the cutterhead.
7. Repeat step 4, 5, and 6 for checking the front side of the outfeed table.

Check the coplanar setup of the infeed table:
1. Place a straight edge on the center of the outfeed table across the cutterhead to the edge of the infeed table.
2. Loosen the lock knob.
3. Raise the infeed table until the left center point is level with the outfeed table.
4. Tighten the lock knob.
5. Place a straight edge across both tables. Check coplanar setup using a .010" feeler gauge in both parallel and diagonal directions.
