It is a 1988 American animated adventure film directed and co-produced by Don Bluth (at Sullivan Bluth Studios), and ex ecutive-produced by Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Kathleen Kennedy, and Frank Marshall.
In 1990,the song "IF WE HOLD ON TOGETHER" reached the #1 on the Japanese Oricon International single charts for 19 contiguous weeks becoming one of the best selling single of the 90s in this country ( 465.000 copies sold and 4 platinum records ) : a record for a foreigner singer ; in total, sold over 600.000 copies.
It was also # 11 in UK and # 25 in IRELAND.
