This 100-year-old residence in Chevy Chase DC
underwent a transformative renovation and addition,
thoughtfully designed by Ballard + Mensua Architecture
and meticulously brought to life by FineCraft Contractors.
A true labor of love, the project sought to honor the historic
character of the home while enhancing it with modern
functionality and charm.
The result is a warm, layered, and deeply personal
home—filled with custom millwork, curated color palettes,
and light-filled spaces that reflect both the vision of the
