Our vanlife adventures took us to Jedburgh, a beautiful Scottish Borders town with a very dark past. 🏰 This time, we explored the infamous Jedburgh Jail, learning what life was really like behind bars in the 1850s — and let’s just say, it wasn’t easy!

From cold stone cells to shocking stories of how prisoners lived, this visit gave us a whole new appreciation for modern comforts. Before the tour, we take in the beautiful town of Jedburgh, with its charming streets, stunning Abbey, and warm Scottish welcome. It’s a mix of history, emotion, and vanlife exploration — just how we love it!
