In this video I am pulling the curtain back on solar financing because it am sick of having to explain how solar and financing companies are tricking you into thinking you're getting a better deal than you really are. Most solar loans have artificially low, bought down interest rates that the customers are buying down without being told. Instead they are told that more legitimate companies are just more expensive and they have better financing available. Really not true most of the time...

If the cash price is less than what the price you are financing, then you're buying down the interest rate and not being told. There is no "cash discount" because it doesn't affect the solar company. If you finance the solar company is paid in full by the bank anyways.
