Here's the fourth test of my new MaxOak Bluetti EB240 battery generator with 4 Renogy 100w compact panels(21.6v, 5.72) in different configurations.
Being new to the solar power thing, I'm loving getting free energy, especially when it's green and quiet. These are solid panels, and consistent in readings. They act more like 65w panels in non-perfect condition, which I'm ok with.
I forgot to connect each panel separately for readings, forgive me.
Getting a perfect angle on the sun in a moving(or rocking) vehicle is impossible, so 65% efficiency is tolerable imo. The mppt in the Bluetti is doing it's best, even on this slightly overcast day.
I'm building a switcher box that will allow me to switch between this front bank and the movable back bank which consists of 2 Bouge 170w full size panels. I may also run both banks in parallel if volts/amps allow. Voltmeter reading w/4 panels in series/parallel- 40v/8.6A
Updates post video(set up @7:30am cst)-
8am- cloudy@174w, clear@275w/290wpeak
8:30- 276w
9am overcast@170w
9:45am- Bluetti fully charged(started at 3 bars state of charge)
I'd like to shout out to and thank Will Prowse and HoboTech for their reviews and awesome informational videos on all things solar. Also check out their web pages
and Amazon store when buying products because it supports them, and they many times include discount codes.
