1: Leaving the oil in your hair overnight is actually unnecessary. It only brings in chances of sticking more dirt to your hair and scalp and excess oil will also stay on the surface dripping instead of getting absorbed. So a good oil session and head massage 1-2 hours before shower works just perfectly fine! But oiling is definitely a MUST!

2: I used to use sulphate shampoos only until coming across the dangers of the ingredient as surfaced on the net. However, I used to feel sulphates cleaned my hair really well as compared to sulphate free shampoos initially. Came across quite a few dermats, did my research and understood if it’s needed for my hair or not and if yes, then in what quantity and times. Since then, I’ve started having a better shampooing routine.

3: Ponytails only cause more hair fall for me. I stopped wearing them as such and switched to hairstyles which didn’t add too much pressure and pulling on my hair and scalp. This creates a big difference, trust me!

EXTRA TIP:
Don’t hit your hair with a towel everytime you want to dry it. Soak the water in towel gently and then let it airdry or blowdry, however you like It. Thats gonna save a lot of your hair from breakage.
