Heavily armed bandits have attacked Government Secondary School Raka in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State, killing a teacher and abducting 3 students, Amnesty International Nigeria has confirmed. “It has been confirmed that the incident happened last night around 10 p.m. The school is Government Day Secondary School, so no students were present,” Abubakar said. “They (the gunmen) came through the staff quarters area, broke through the fence, entered the premises, and killed Malam Kabir Abdullah, who was retired. No fewer than 23 farmers and villagers were killed between Friday and Saturday in fresh attacks some communities in four Local Government Areas of Benue State. The four local governments are, Logo, Kwande, Ukum and Guma. The victims, who had slept over in the area, were reportedly attacked while heading to their farms in the morning, The Punch had reported.
