How to Connect Fishing Line to a Reel with an Arbor Knot

Here is an excellent tutorial on connecting fishing lines to reel using a simple arbor knot. All you have to do is tie an overhand knot to the end of the line, then make a loop using the tag end, making a cinch loop. Pull the knot tight until the line pulls tight on the spool. Trim your tag and start adding line to the reel.
