If anyone is ever new to the verse and want to know what to do, I suggest they don't focus on what makes the most UEC per hour or any of the grinds, but to take a few delivery missions. I think they are the best missions for a new player. The teach you how to set routes, take off, land, and pilot your ship. The bring you all over the verse and at the same time you can loot some free starter gear and get your space legs all while earning a bit of rep and money. It's a great way to really begin the game. Also I accidently figure out the part about looting that confused me before.
