How to Drive on OBX Beaches WITHOUT Getting Stuck

I have been driving on the beaches around the Outer Banks for many years. I am going to tell you how to safely drive on the beach.

We will look at the safety gear that you will want to bring with you. You want to make sure you have a 4x4 vehicle. By following the advice in this video, I have been fortunate not to have gotten stuck You may notice my tow strap has never been unwrapped. Some people will air down to 15 psi.

The OBX has miles of beaches to explore and the best way to get away from the crowds is to take a drive down the beach.
