Estes Alpha Build Day3-A Class Tribute

This video is a tribute to my class of 2023. The bantering in this video is a culmination and reflection of the fun, camaraderie, and laughs I have had with my students. From messing up on a math problem and being told that's why I don't work for NASA, having fun with a parent, great friends of mine, who sent their student to school with a large shirt to wear after getting glue on them, to being the first group to form and grow the new Red Devil Rocketry group and laugh at all my mishaps from lost rockets, to O-ring failures at launch. Together we have taught each other the values of hard work, trust, and how to persevere through the tough problems to celebrate success and realize that Math can actually be fun. I taught many of these students in 2nd grade and they are one of the reasons I moved to 5th grade. This is a special group of kids that have shaped my life and will have a special place in my heart as they go forward always being observant, asking questions, and never being afraid of trying new things. Students....I wish you success in all you do and thank you for being a part of my life for all these years. Farewell.....and keep looking up!
