Hiking The West Highland Way Late Winter Sun 2023 | Stunning Drone Footage & Wild Camping Adventure

Welcome to this silent cinematic film about my hiking journey along the second section of the West Highland Way in the beautiful Highlands of Scotland. In February 2023, I embarked on this adventure with the aim of wild camping and using my lightweight camping and hiking gear as much as possible

As a first-timer in wild camping during the British winter, I was really worried about keeping warm. Thankfully, my Thermarest 4 Season sleeping gear just about kept me alive as the temperature dropped to minus 10 in Glen Coe. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the fantastic sunny and clear conditions during the day, with four days of perfect sunshine and warm weather.

Throughout my journey, I couldn't help but notice the stunning scenery and breathtaking
landscapes that surrounded me. With the beautiful Italian Alps and Dolomites in mind, I captured some amazing drone footage using the DJI Mavic Mini Pro 3 drone, which complemented the beauty of the Scottish Highlands effortlessly. Amazingly, the footage needed minimal colour grading to truly showcase the natural beauty of the area
