Lost Film Arbor Photos: Broadmoor Golf Club and C.E. Byrd High School 1930!
Check out this video that we recently put together using old photos from 1930 that we found in the Film Arbor collection ! They were in boxes in the back room of Thurman C. Smith’s studio!
These photos have probably never been seen in over 90 years! These are 95 year old photos of the Broadmoor Golf Club (now Querbes Golf Course) and the Byrd High School football field and stands (yes, stands).
We used A.I. technology to bring them to life! It looks like an acting troupe (Centenary actors maybe) visited those places to do a photo shoot. We used A.I. to tell the story and have a little fun doing it! This was probably the most fun we’ve had working on a video! To see these people from 1930 come alive and talk was nothing short of phenomenal.
If you recognize anyone in these photos and video or know what acting troupe is involved, please let us know! We do know that motorcycle policeman William Lanagan and Comm. T. C. Dawkins with the Shreveport Police Dept. Motor Division are in the photos. The actual pictures are at the end of this video.
