Buro Happold, in close collaboration with Grimshaw delivered critical engineering services for the project. Sustainability was threaded through every stage and was the basis of all engineering and architectural decisions made.
We revisited Terra to talk to Matthew Utley, principal at Grimshaw, Phil Dunn, senior manager, sustainability, education and culture, EXPO City Dubai and Sheena Khan, Head of Environment and Culture Programmes for Terra Pavilion, about how Terra continues to convey a meaningful narrative about sustainable building to the UAE and beyond.
