The performance you are about to watch is “The Good Part” by AJR. It took Zachary almost two months to decide on that song because he couldn’t figure out what he wanted to say. Finally, he decided he wanted to tell a story that showed the uncomfortability of moving through life. He is graduating high school in under a month, so naturally, he has no idea what he wants to do with his life. He chose this song almost as a battle cry. He needed to say that we need to acknowledge unpredictability, as long as we never let it define our purpose. He needed to say, no matter how crazy or hard life may be, there is always something to look forward to - there is always a good part.
