Beijing 2008 (Olympic Games): Ota Yuki becomes one of the world's favorite fencers with his silver medal finish.
Catania 2011 (WCH): Race Imboden knocks out defending world champion Peter Joppich.
London 2012 (Olympic Games): Byungchul Choi amazes the world with his incredible energy and athleticism, earning the bronze medal.
Moscow 2015 (WCH): Ota Yuki becomes world champion after defeating Gerek Meinhardt and Alex Massialas.
Rio 2016 (Olympic Games): Daniele Garozzo wins the gold, bringing the Olympic title back to Italy after 20 years. The bronze medal goes to rising Russian fencer Timur Safin.
Leipzig 2017 (WCH): Zherebchenko wins the gold after defeating the rising fencers of the Japanese foil team. In the team event, Miles Chamley-Watson surprises the world with his unique style.
