"Isn’t it amazing how many of us in our 70s are thriving — not because of constant doctor visits, but because of the healthy choices we’ve made all our lives? From home remedies and supplements to acupuncture, chiropractics, and nutrition, we built habits of prevention that kept us strong.

And yet, Medicare doesn’t recognize those very choices. The system pays for pills, tests, and surgeries — but not prevention, wellness, or holistic care. In a way, it feels like we’re being punished for being healthy.
