Changing an unhappy starter solved a starting issue and a constant battery drain on my 2003 Ducati Monster and made the bike reliable. Trusting the thing will start is key to happy Monster ownership!
I absolutely love this bike. I had been looking for a Monster 800 in Blue for a long time before buying this one from a Scottish plumber in 2020. That in itself was a whole other drama. It is one of 5 800s sent to the UK. As an S i.e. it has the aluminium swingarm and carbon rear trims. It also now has a Power Commander and Remus cans.
Have done other some work on it this year, but major progress was stagnant for a while due to personal stuff. Winter 2024 will see it get quite a bit of tlc. Stay tuned!
