This tutorial shows you how to modify the midi editor in REAPER to make orchestrating easy and fun. The usual method of selecting various notes and assigning them to individual instruments is tedious and fraught with error. Instead you will learn how to automatically select the highest notes in chord progression and assign them to a single instrument, and then iterate that process for as many notes there are in the chords.
Orchestrating a chord progression to the 5 string families can take as little as a minute or 2.
