First proper flight of 2021 in my Standard Cirrus (T7) with new instrument panel (OpenVario, ERA80)

This is the first proper flight of 2021 in my Standard Cirrus (T7) glider with the new instrument panel from my series of winter videos.

I've had a check flight and a quick launch the week before.

The wind was 18-21 knots and the canopy isn't sealed properly since it was removed for the new instrument panel and needs sealing again; which is a quick job and I'll try and do a quick video on that too. So, I haven't included the whole flight as the seal has gone right against the GoPro camera and the microphone is picking it up more than it was and was really annoying !!!

In summary, the instruments are:

OpenVario by SteFly, running XCSoar with the remote joystick
LX Navigation ERA80 Variometer and flight computer
Dittel KRT2 8.33Mhz Radio (connected to the OpenVario)
57mm Altimeter
80mm ASI (Air Speed Indicator)
PowerFLARM Core with dual antennas and ADSB
