Luunii: For those who don't know, today is Yoobii's birthday. Yoobii was a friend of mine who sadly is no longer around, and I always try to do something for their birthday. So when I was approached by a pal and offered to help with making a birthday song for Yoobii, I of course accepted! Pretty much all of the work here is theirs and I only really helped with the solos, but they suggested I upload the song since I was closer to Yoobii. So, here it is! We miss you every day Yoobii, and I hope that you're still smiling down on us. Have a good day and know that you are loved!

On a serious note, Annventure is probably one of the best RPG series I've played years and I've only discovered it a year ago. Sure, the balancing for the combat is kinda bad, but the story is absolutely worth it (which come to think of it, is kinda like OFF).

My second favorite character is Azzy, behind Emily (yes specifically Emily and not Ego). Not only is it because she's a very body positive character, but she's surprisingly human in the way she acts, especially in the limited time she gets in the sequel. She reflects very human needs and fears that no character expresses as much, mainly her fear of being alone and how she copes with it: alcohol. Sure she uses it recreationally and constantly (which is what eventually kills her in Ann2), but it's still a common coping mechanism that many people use.

So, why is the song called Afterdark? So far it seemingly has no connection to what I've established so far. Funny story, this song was originally supposed to have lyrics that bordered between themes of freedom and [MAP129], but I eventually decided to scrap/postpone them indefinitely because I couldn't find a vocaloid software that was free and didn't require me to write 8 thousand lines of code to use it. If I do find one, expect a vocal cover sooner or later.
