In universe description: In 1997 the Cobain residence was broken into during a vacation and an estimated 5 tapes were stolen. Recently I saw this tape claiming to be one of the 5 stolen tapes on EBay for $350 so I decided to take the plunge and buy the tape. I'm ecstatic to say this is a real tape of a Nirvana band rehearsal. The tape has water damage likely from poor storage conditions but I was able to recover Living The Lie.
