HVLP Spray Gun Basics - Scenic Art

Pneumatic paint sprayers are a very useful tool for Scenic Artists when there is a lot of scenery that needs a flat base color or a very fine, smooth finish. However, spray guns can be intimidating, confusing, and frustrating if you don't know how to use them, or if they start acting up. In this video, I'll go over the basics of a gravity fed HVLP, how to take it apart to properly clean it, what the knobs do, and a few beginner tips for spraying. There is more to learn about HVLPs and other spray guns, but I hope this video will give you a baseline to begin learning more.
