After rushing to Brisbane to get away from the devastating floods in NSW, we then decide to head west to Goondawindi, a rural town located on the border of NSW & Queensland.
Chasing a change of scenery & thought heading inland to outback Australia would be a smart idea considering they have been hit with a lot less rain compared to the coastal areas.
We made this decision after contacting the local council who were sure conditions were fine for travelling & so we packed up & set off for our outback adventure, but only to soon learn.... not everything goes to plan.
