Dhruv Patel is a bioengineering undergraduate at the University of Maryland College Park. He has been working in healthcare technology for more than 5+ years in the field of implantable glucose sensors, magnetic drug delivery, portable MRI scanners, and much more. His interdisciplinary and intuitive approach to solving today's most challenging healthcare problems has allowed him to lead his enterprise, Synapto, to win various national awards and gain international recognition. As a proven leader in medical devices, his passion for medicine, entrepreneurship, and engineering glows in his work and is seen in his commitment in the fight against Alzheimer's.
