Every goggle needs a battery and this one does some unique things:
USB-C balance charging for convivence
no special charger needed
Built in high speed (great than 90MB/sec) Micro SD card reader so you always have a SD card reader with you
Offload footage at end of day, PC charges the battery to full. Go fly the next day and often forgot and left SD card in PC card reader
in this case the SD card is in the battery pack, just pop it out and plug back into the goggle!
Mounting the battery on the back of the head strap balances the weight of the goggle so that your head doesn't tilt downward
ergonomic and better signal for antennas!
USB-C power packs are a common alternative, but these often are unreliable at delivering the amps we need
these packs also don't show the goggle how much voltage is left for the low voltage alarm
