This 1960s Nylint Ford Econoline Van started its life as a U-Haul rental, but after sitting unfinished for years, I decided it was time for a transformation! Instead of restoring it to its original rental truck form, I took a creative approach—customizing it into a Holiday Inn airport shuttle van, giving it a whole new identity while staying true to its vintage roots.
Throughout this build, I tackled bodywork, paint, decals, and fine restoration details to match the classic shuttle van look. From worn-out metal to a clean and polished finish, this project was all about turning an old, forgotten piece into something fresh, unique, and historically inspired.
