Fláajökull is a 15 km long valley glacier of Vatnajökull north-west of the small harbour town of Höfn on the south coast of Iceland. Less well known to tourists, this glacier is nestled in a landscape reminiscent of the "Lord of the Rings" saga.
Der Fláajökull ist ein 15 km langer Talgletscher des Vatnajökull nordwestlich der kleinen Hafenstadt Höfn an der isländischen Südküste. Touristisch weniger bekannt, liegt dieser Gletscher eingebettet in eine an die "Herr der Ringe-Saga" erinnernde Landschaft.
