EWTN broadcaster Colm Flynn discusses how Parish Priest Monsignor James Horan began building the Ireland West Airport.
“I’m in Ireland West Airport … it’s a teeny tiny airport that serves mainly Ireland and the United Kingdom,” Mr Flynn told Sky News host Paul Murray.
“What makes this airport extra special is … its history, and its humble beginnings 40 years ago.
“He [Monsignor James Horan] said one day to people here: ‘We have to build an international airport … and they said you can’t do it.”
