I picked off 3 villagers with scouts, kept constant pressure with skirmishers, and quickly set up 2 extra TCs for a powerful boom.
My Castle Age comp was deadly:
Hand Cannoneers + Steppe Lancers.
Step Lancers shredded every archer he made, while the Hand Cannoneers erased fights instantly.
He tried a desperate forward castle on my base, but with an early Imperial Age, Trebs, and a nonstop stream of Hand Cannoneers, everything melted.
Realizing his castle was doomed, he called GG.
