We set out for our summer holidays this year to have five weeks in Ireland and Scotland, our first journey was from Fleetwood, our home base to Whitehaven. The forecast was for no wind then going south force 3, but this turned out to be an understatement, we saw 32 knotts true before we go there with heavy seas and torrential rain.
