Preparations for the 26th Hornbill Festival at Kisama are in full swing with major upgrades underway. The Tourism department has capped food prices at INR 350 per plate, responding to public complaints about past overpricing. The festival arena has been expanded to 7,000 seats, with upgraded stages, improved green rooms and new accessibility features, including ramps to all Morungs. Tourist police, hygiene partners and VVIP facilities have also been added.
