Oz: Thunderstorms look to shift to Qld next week

More severe thunderstorms are expected in NSW today, while a polar change arrives in Tas on Sunday, with the risk of heavy downpours and thunderstorms looking like they will shift further into Queensland next week.
The more northern shift in thundery weather is due to the colder southerly coming into Australia's SE on Sunday/Monday, ahead of a very large high pressure system. It's this anticyclone that will balloon out into the southern half of Australia and bring a drier period of weather (some may have winds).
