Shredder/Garmadon/Darth Vader "Traitor" - Daughtry

"Only thing worse than a hater is a traitor."

Even though Crystallized isn't finished yet, as soon as I heard this song, I knew that it was perfect for these 3 characters. All 3 of them once had a brother whom they betrayed. And because of that betrayal, they went down a dark path craving nothing but power and destruction. And that's what I love about these villains. They may have chosen their path, but even so, they are uncertain. They want to return to the way things were before, but they know they can't. It's such powerful storytelling that I wanted to express in the video. And don't worry, "I'm So Sorry" is still coming soon.

I was originally inspired to make this video after watching ‪@HalaCG‬'s original song "Villain Arc". Her video reflected what it truly means to be a evil and embrace it. Her rouge's gallery consisted of some her favorite and most insane villains of all time. A few of a which are my favorites as well. It was an interesting concept that I thought I could try out in my own style. My version of "Villain Arc" would be about betrayal, regret, and pain. Heroes who were respected, kind, and loving now feared and resented by the world around them. And similar to Hala's Villain Arc, they embrace the darkness and let their hatred fuel them.
