The „peacemaker course“ initiative is gathering groups all over Jordan in sessions to engage them in peacemaker topics and empower them to be the change makers and peace builders in their families, neighbourhoods and communities. It is driven by the belief, that change starts in the heart and mind of people.
The sessions provide tools and strategies that build the conflict resolution skills and capabilities of youth and adults. The sessions cover various topics such as healthy relationships, personal growth and contribution, forgiveness and reconciliation.
Group challenges, dramas, music and discussions are used in the sessions to engage the participants in a creative, playful and impactful way. The participants are challenged to look into real life problems and actively think how they can be part of the practical solution in their community.
