We all have loved ones that have gone on before us to Heaven. John asks a question that concerns many: will we recognize the people we knew in this life when we there? Randy answers by looking at the Apostle Paul's statements regarding grief in 1 Thessalonians 4. The emphasis is that the loss is only temporary. That we will recognize those we have lost is inherently implied in the encouragement to look forward to being reunited with those we love in Heaven.
