Mingle Media TV and Red Carpet Report host Denise Salcedo were invited to cover the 36th College Television Awards also known as the Student Emmys at the Skirball Cultural Center recognizing excellence in student-produced video, digital and film work.

On hand to present the awards to the winners were Modern Family Co-Creator Steve Levitan, White Collar’s Matt Bomer, American Horror Story’s Sarah Paulson, iZombie’s Rose McIver, American Crime’s Benito Martinez, Jane the Virgin’s Justin Baldoni, Two and a Half Men’s Melanie Lynskey, The Flash’s Danielle Panabaker, Wizards of Waverly Place’s Maria Canals-Barrera, American Idol’s Rickey Minor and Arrested Development Creator Mitch Hurwitz.

About the College Television Awards
The College Television Awards is a national competition recognizing excellence in college student-produced video, digital and film work. Each year, hundreds of colleges and universities nationwide submit entries in a variety of categories. Winners are honored with a personalized trophy at the gala in Los Angeles, receive cash awards, industry recognition and the opportunity to network with top television executives. Entries are judged online by members of the Television Academy who are professionals working in each respective discipline. Viewing is restricted to competition judges and staff only.
